Features:
  • Can be easily accommodated to load/unload virtually any machine tool – lathes, mill, grinders, EDMs, etc.
  • Handles all spindles up to a 20” operator reach, and from 30” to 45” high
  • Works with left hand (L) or right hand (R) controls on machine tool
  • FANUC M-6iB Robot for small to medium sized parts. Robot capacity is 13 lbs including end effector
  • Cells designed to require minimal floor space but still allow access to the front of the machine tool - no sliding equipment away to service machine tool. Safety interlocked guarding door allows complete access to machine tool or automation cell

Options:
  • Cells are designed and constructed to best suit the customer’s need, i.e. queue time, floor space, part size & weight versus robot model, various optional inputs, etc.
  • Two (2) 28” x 24” size pallets, 1 for input and 1 for output, or both for input and a conveyor or chute output (up to 500, 1” diameter parts in vertical position)
  • Heavy duty slide out pallets with MTL-500 setups – pallets are loaded/unloaded when pulled out – pallets interchange only for part change or for storage of parts
  • Hydraulic cart with MTL-500 setups instead of slide out pallets – pallets can be lifted onto cart should it be desired to exchange pallets with or without parts
  • Dual gripper (EOAT) for simultaneous load/unload
  • Dual linear 2-jaw assembly for gripping parts on the diameter – parts horizontal in pallets
  • Dual 3-jaw assembly for gripping parts on end – parts vertical in pallets
  • Dual rotating gripper for reversing parts to machine the opposite end
  • Can accommodate secondary operations based on cycle times such as washing, inspecting/gauging, deburring, component assembly, labeling or vision systems
  • A light tower for the cell
Buyer Responsibilities:
  • Machining program with automation interface
  • A continuous air supply (80 PSI) is required and a FRL is included
  • 480V supply drop for robot control is required
  • Provide sample raw parts of at least one size desired for JH Robotics use in a turnkey run off verification if the turnkey automation option is purchased. JH Robotics recommends that at least one automation turnkey option be purchased with the first unit.
  • Removal of chips or any contaminants prohibiting proper holding of parts in work holding
